Born and raised in Frederick, Maryland, Michele began her singing career in 1975 with a local Bluegrass band called The Marrakesh Express. Although Michele had never listened to Bluegrass prior to being with the group, she quickly learned how to sing the unique Bluegrass harmonies. This was her first opportunity to perform before large crowds and she soon realized entertaining was in her blood.
In 1979 Michele was asked to be the lead female vocalist for the very popular Top 40 Dance and Show band, “Damion and the Classics.” She was the first female in the group since its inception 20 years prior. Performing six nights a week, at least four sets a night, Michele gained a vast amount stage experience. Traveling up and down the East coast and performing for a wide range of audiences during the Disco craze was a great experience and Michele quickly learned the music business.
After leaving Damion and the Classics, Michele formed her own Top 40 Country band called “Full House.” Full House lived up to its name packing the house wherever they played. It wasn’t long until Michele and her band began opening up for major acts as they toured throughout the area. Some of the acts included: Conway Twitty, The Oak Ridge Boys, Kathy Mattea, Ronnie Milsap, Exile, George Jones, Saywer Brown, Patty Loveless and many more.
In the late 90’s, Michele began working with the management team of Terry and Brenda Cline in Nashville, Tennessee. One of Michele’s biggest thrills was showcasing her band at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville.
During the beginning of 2001, Michele once again found herself in a Top 40 Classic Rock band performing throughout the Maryland, Virginia, DC and Pennsylvania area. Since then she has continued to perform hits from the 60’s to current chart toppers with Rewind Band. Michele’s voice has often been compared to that of Patsy Cline, Barbara Streisand, Wynonna and Linda Ronstadt.
Michele is married to her husband of 25+ years Bob Small (who is also the band’s bass player) and has one son, Jeffrey.

with Tim Curry, Dr. John, Micheal Kamen, Dick Wagner and others. He's played all over
the NYC and Mid Atlantic region. Studied guitar/music with Allen Hanlon and Pat
Martino, Barry Harris and others. Studied Voice with Judy Hages - Art of Bel Canto.

We're so excited to have Wayne on drums with us! His years of experience and his feel can't be beat! He's played with many local bands including Damion & the Classics, Hit Men, Inside Out. He's worked with some of the best players in the DC area. Not only is he an incredible drummer, but he can sing any soulful tune you can think of!

A native of Hampton, VA, Bill moved to Nashville, TN in 1980. During his tenure in Nashville, he traveled with gospel artist Lindy Hearne and played on a number of recordings including a Christmas instrumental album with the group “La Lumiere” that was released on Starsong records. During his tenure in Nashville, he traveled with gospel artist Lindy Hearne and played on a number of recordings including a Christmas instrumental album with the group “La Lumiere” that was released on Starsong records. He was also a member of the trio “Tricia Walker and the Mudcats”, frequently playing at the now-famous Bluebird Café. After moving to Hagerstown, MD, Bill began sitting in with local musicians and became a regular member of the Backroads Blues Band, The Tonehounds, and now Rewind! Influences include: Jr. Wells, Jr. Walker, Jr. Brown and Jr. Samples.
